THOMPSON'S FARM

EDITED ON September 15, 2025

AT THE MARKET WE HAVE O HENRY PEACHES PROBABLY FOR ABOUT A WEEK AND THEN PEACHES WILL BE FINISHED FOR THE YEAR
WE ALSO HAVE GALA AND HONEYCRISP APPLES, BARTLETT PEARS, ITALIAN PLUMS AND ORNAMENTAL PUMPKINS.

WE ARE VERY BUSY GETTING READY FOR THE PUMPKIN PATCH

ONE OF OUR PROJECTS IS THE ADDITION OF ANOTHER DONUT MACHINE, THAT HAS TURNED INTO QUITE THE PROJECT
HOW WILL YOU GET SOME DONUTS WITHOUT WAITING FOREVER IN LINE ??
SEPTEMBER 27 AND 28 WILL BE THE SLOWEST DAYS.
SO WE RARELY HAVE A DONUT LINE ON THE FIRST AND SECOND WEEKEND
.  WE ALSO DO NOT DEVELOP A DONUT LINE EARLY IN THE DAY SO THAT IS ALSO A PLAN.

for an hour or two on the first day we are pretty inefficient
but we only do this for 10 days a year and we usually have it figured out in a couple of hours

SEE THE PUMPKIN PATCH PAGE FOR SCHEDULING WEEKDAY GROUP TOURS

for some reason I cannot update the peach page but we are on the last variety

there will be no upick until October on the weekends for apples

IT LOOKS LIKE (AT THIS TIME) WE HAVE A GOOD CROP OF ALL FRUITS

WE GROW CHERRIES, APRICOTS, PLUMS, PEACHES, PEARS AND APPLES

obviously I handle my own website and while it is not professional it allows me to keep the harvest information current
